PROJECT SURAKSHA KAVACH - BOMIS SAFETY CLUB
The School, in collaboration with the Children & Youth Safety Forum, a vertical of the Society for Cyberabad Security Council, successfully launched Project Suraksha Kavach through BOMIS Safety Club. The event was aimed at raising awareness about student safety and promoting responsible behaviour both online and offline.
Graced by Dr. Vanita Datla, Joint Secretary, and Ms. Rashmi Srivastava, Safety Consultant from the Forum, and officials from the Cyberabad Police, the event featured a vibrant road safety rally by Grades 1 and 2, a compelling street play on cyber safety by Grade 7, and the official unveiling of the Suraksha Kavach protocol.
The Vice Principal presented a detailed report on the school’s safety initiatives, and the Safety Marshals from the Safety Club were felicitated with badges of honour as a part of their induction into the club.
The event concluded with the Principal administering a safety pledge, reaffirming the school’s commitment to building a secure and aware student community. The event turned out to be a beautiful symphony of awareness, action, and aspiration.
Health
i. The school is associated with Rainbow Hospitals and Star Hospitals (Financial District) offering multiplicity, tertiary and Quaternary care services.
ii. A trained nurse deputed by Care Hospitals is available to attend the students in the Sick Bays (separate for Boys and Girls). However, no medicine is administered to the student by the Nurse unless specifically instructed by the parent.
iii. Annual Medical Checkup is done for the students and all staff members.
iv. School ambulance is available in school if a student needs to be taken to the hospital.
v. Periodical Training for First Aid and Awareness Sessions regarding Health and Hygiene are conducted for the students and staff members (teaching and non-teaching staff members).
Health & Safety Training for Staff
Our school prioritizes health, safety and security and believes in readiness and preparedness for emergency situations.
Various health training sessions are organized for the staff from time to time to equip school staff including the support staff with certain basic first aid as well as life-saving skills to respond effectively to emergencies within school premises. These kind of trainings help the school to create a safer and better prepared educational environment. Staff also gain confidence in their ability to handle critical situations.
