With over 40 years of experience in building perfect places for people to live and work in, I was intrigued and motivated to create an open environment for future generations to come, be happy to learn, build and follow their destiny. Birla Open Minds International School has the best infrastructure with state of art facilities and open learning spaces crafted to suit the needs of limitless creativity and energy.
The campus is created in a way where there is a scope for nature to spread its entirety. The inquisitive minds are let free to explore and experience their learning years in a positive environment. We are happy to be a channel for building spaces for minds and lives to grow boundlessly.
Director’s Message
Birla Open Minds International School– is a dream that is built to provide a seamless learning environment for children to unleash their true and full potential. With so many schools sprouting all across, yet confined to a particular sector of learning methodology, we wanted to bring something unique, where a child can explore all possibilities before embarking on the journey of academic learning. We wanted to keep the formative years as open and inclusive as possible, so that there is no restriction in one’s imagination and learning.
It is with this vision that we were looking for a perfect blend of all methodologies. We found our ideology being translated into reality with Birla Edutech Ltd., which was in complete sync with our belief, having a perfectly woven integrated curriculum giving the much required space for a child to indulge in creatively learning from an early age. This gave way to our proud partnership with Birla Edutech Ltd. for seamlessly integrating proven teaching methodologies with a perfect blend of both scholastics and co-scholastics.
From there, the journey has been very fulfilling. Today, we stand strong with our chain of pre-schools and the main school being rated the best in the city of Hyderabad. The road ahead seems promising too with a satisfaction that our dreams have taken up with flying wings soaring high.

Our school's purpose is to educate and prepare the young to take their productive place as leaders and achievers in the society. The school’s vision to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment for the children aligns with my own personal value, pushing us to strive more to build a future generation that can think possibilities. The focus is on inculcating the importance of trust, respect, innovation and a sense of harmony with the community.
The development of the school has been phenomenal. The path ahead beholds these firm foundations focusing on the quality of school life, especially for the benefit of our students. We want our students and teachers to be lifelong learners. Thus we provide them ample opportunities to enhance their skills and always be abreast with global perspectives. Dear Parent,
It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the Academic Year 2024 – 2025. In our journey of this transition phase striving for learner independence, the agility to organize knowledge and manage learning tasks has become essential skills for developing the attributes of a lifelong learner.
The students’ progress happens from one stage to another, but the development does not take place in a linear fashion. Self-regulated learning plays a pivotal role in empowering the learners through a series of exercises that fortify self-direction skills such as designing, managing and leading experiences, decision-making, task management and creatively solving a problem by being aware of self-potential.
Every student walks into the classroom with diverse backgrounds, interests, life experiences, needs, challenges, goals, strengths, and varied skill sets, which makes it imperative that learning needs to be personalized for self-directed learning.
The self-learning environment gives the learners the independence to safely make decisions without having any fear of failure and reflect on their own learning. The learner needs to take personal responsibility in an age-appropriate manner for their learning and make judgement about the level of achievement of their learning goals, and then decide to make creative plans what to do next. A diligent and focussed research attitude will help the learners gain the much-required confidence while they attempt to make creative choices for their progressive learning goals at every step.
Let us collaboratively guide them to independently plan and develop their mindset for a self-regulated system, checkpoint, personal expectation, reflection, and look for opportunities of sustained growth and joy of being an independent learner.
